Around 20% of the students are international, and the university is actively expanding its global network:

  • UiT offers 27 Master's programs in English, and each faculty offers studies in English.
  • The university has over 200 international agreements to secure an active academic exchange of students and staff with partner institutions worldwide.
  • It's a founding member of the University of the Arctic, an international network of 160 study and research institutions of the circumpolar region.
